Voting in Texas

The Secretary of State manages voting and elections in Texas. Unlike many states, Texas does not allow same-day voter registration and you cannot register by party.

You may visit the Secretary of State’s website or the Texas Democratic Party’s My Texas Votes tool to check your voter registration status, register to vote, and learn what you’ll need on election day.
