August meeting Notes

Democrats from across Hunt County gathered recently for the Hunt County Democrats’ (HCD) monthly meeting on Aug. 4. Nearly 50 members attended in person or online.

Members discussed topics including Beto O’Rourke’s upcoming Greenville rally at the Reecy Davis Recreation Center, establishing a women’s issues group, and recent and upcoming soil collection ceremonies. Members also received updates on recent committee activities and initiatives.

Special guest Annette Krausse, president of the Texas Democrats Small Business Caucus, spoke about the recent state convention and expressed her eagerness to network with small businesses in Greenville in the future.

HCDP meets at 6:30 every first Thursday of the month at Dairy Manor in Greenville.
