Each organization listed below includes accurate details to help residents find the assistance they need quickly and confidently

EMPLOYMENT & WORKFORCE SUPPORT

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) The Texas Workforce Commission is the state’s primary employment and training agency, connecting residents with reliable programs that support job readiness, skills development, and long-term career growth. The Greenville Workforce Center, operating under TWC, provides local access to SNAP Employment & Training services, job search and résumé assistance, work experience opportunities with public and nonprofit organizations, GED and education support, and vocational or technical skills training. The center also offers transportation and childcare assistance to help reduce barriers to employment. Through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), TWC funds job training, certifications, and career planning for adults, youth, and dislocated workers. Residents can also use Work In Texas, the state’s official online job portal, to search for employment, upload résumés, and access state job-matching tools.

Registered Apprentice Program – Workforce Solutions North Central Texas This program provides paid apprenticeships that combine hands-on work experience with technical instruction for long-term career development.
