Democrats are working hard to make things affordable with solutions like raising the minimum wage, programs such as; SNAP Benefits and Medicaid and investing into HUD programs for home buyers to ensure families are able to afford their groceries, medical needs, utilities and housing.
The health of our planet is very important to us! Reducing the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide that get trapped into the O-Zone Layer of the planet lock-in heat causing the average temperature of the planet to rise and fragile ecosystems that we depend on to become unstable and cause drastic weather changes. An example of this is how intense Hurricane season has been lately and that Artic Blast that occurred in 2021. By Regulating gas emissions and investing into alternatives such as Wind, and Solar Power we can reduce our carbon footprint and preserve our planet together!
Every Texan and American deserves healthcare. Democrats have shown their stance on this by passing the Affordable Care Act also dubbed “Obamacare” that forces insurance companies to insure people with pre-existing conditions while also subsidizing those companies to help keep healthcare affordable. Regulating the healthcare industry to ensure further affordability is one of our priorities so that every Texan can receive the healthcare they deserve at an affordable cost.
Diversity, equality and inclusion isn’t just for a certain demographic, it is for everyone! This allows people of marginalized groups such as those with different race, religion, gender, orientation and disabilities are able to be employed without the risk of being discriminated against. Every person deserves the right to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” .
We do proudly defend the Second Amendment however, common-sense regulations need to be put into place to ensure the safety of fellow Texans. This can take the form of more extensive background checks and red-flag laws.

We believe that people have the right to express their gender however they wish. This is something would fall under the 1st Amendment Right of Freedom of Expression and should not be infringed upon.
Texas Women, and Transmen have the right to autonomy over their bodies and to reproductive healthcare that can be both life changing and life saving! Banning such procedures won’t stop them from happening, it just stops them from happening safely under the care of a licensed physician that follows strict guidelines to ensure the safety of patients.
Investing into the Texas’ Public Education system is important to the future of not only in Hunt County but across Texas and across the nation. Public schools, not private should be funded and regulated properly so that every Texan can receive a proper education. Secondary Education such as Universities and Trade Schools help with economic growth in local communities such as Hunt County.
