Area Food Banks in Need of Help

The Hunt County Democratic Party is charging admission to our meetings to support area food banks. If you can, please try to bring non-perishable foods, cereal, hygiene items; just about anything that you can think of as your admission fee. We are donating these items to the Lake Area Shared Ministries in Quinlan, and they are extremely grateful for our contributions. The Trump-Musk-Doge administration cut funding to the North Texas Food Bank by over a million dollars. Food banks across the nation are scrambling to meet the needs. This has become a year-round crisis, and we will do our part to help, not just at Christmas. If you or someone you know is in need, please let us know. At the last meeting in September and again in October, democrats in Hunt County show we care by donating food and other hygiene necessities to area food banks. The last delivery was made this week to Lake Area Shared Ministries in Quinlan by Marianne Roberts, and we thank her for her service to the community.
